How will I get to know people?
If you are new to town or just passing through Childers—as many are, our morning tea’s after our Sunday services are a great way to get to know us.
When are the services held?
Our Church service starts every Sunday at 9am.
How long is a church service?
Our church service goes for approximately 60 minutes (9am-10am). Just make sure to leave some time to get to know us after our service over a cup of tea or coffee!
What should I expect in a church service?
Worship services start with singing choruses and hymns accompanied by our musicians. With Scripture reading, opportunity to join us in prayer and to be prayed for – we enjoy celebrating and worshipping Jesus together. We also hear a message (about 20 mins) usually prepared by our pastor, inspired by the Bible, with an opportunity to respond to the challenges given to us as we close with a final song. There is normally a separate session for the children of all ages.
How should I dress?
Dress in something that you find comfortable and relaxing.
