Pastor’s Pen

Saturday 20th December 2025:

Hi everyone,

The promise that God would send His Son to save us was prophesied all the way back in Genesis. (Gen.3:16/49:10) Satan may have tricked man into the bondage of sin and death, but an amazing rescue plan was promised.
When Jesus was born even the angels couldn’t help but fill the sky in joyful song. It is the only time in human history that such a heavenly choir was ever witnessed. Jesus has come to be our Saviour.
Tomorrow we start a series looking at the Messiah. Read Isaiah 7:13-14. The comforting news for a besieged Judea became great news for all mankind.
It’s also time for our Bougainville Bucket where our few coins or notes go towards helping the church in Bougainville.
Some great news!! We will be able to leave our chairs set up over the coming Christmas break so please check with Janet before packing up anything.
Christmas service will be at 8am this Thursday at the Cultural Centre.

Please continue to pray for Sharon Mollers mum Elsie as she is praying to be able to go home from hospital on Monday.
Keep praying for the true message of Christmas to enter the hearts of our community. What a present to receive!
Pray for all who have to work over the break. Police, Health and Age care and other essential workers. Also, for those who are alone amongst the celebrations.
I pray that each of you will dwell on Christ and shine in your families this Christmas. May His love and Peace be yours,
Blessings Pastor Alan
